UX-Driven Web Design

Some of my more visual design work

Overview

A mix of web and UX/UI design projects where I focused on clean, modern visuals and strong layout design. Each project was about creating polished interfaces that feel cohesive and visually clear. From typography to color choices, every detail was considered to support a consistent visual language.

UX & UI Design for an online jewellery brand

RLBLC

I redesigned a real estate agency’s website using their brand guidelines and an initial draft as a starting point. With UX principles and UI best practices in mind, I explored visual directions, iterated on layouts, and refined the design to create a modern, clean solution that aligned with the client’s goals. The final result is a polished site that presents their properties, ethos and all relevant information clearly and professionally.

I led the project independently, with senior designer input to ensure it stayed on track.

A Piece of Summer

I designed an online store for a local jewellery brand, who provided a few competitor references and relied on me to lead the visual direction. I began with a benchmarking exercise and a short user survey to identify key user needs and industry standards. Based on these insights, I created an affinity diagram, wireframes and a sample UI design, which I presented for client feedback before moving forward to the final design.

Research

Survey findings highlighted key focus areas to inform my designs: ensuring product quality by using clear product images, detailed descriptions and incorporating customer reviews.

Wireframes

With key issues identified through research, I designed wireframes to create a smooth user flow and clearly communicate my vision to the client. These included the main landing page, product page, shop-all page, cart and checkout, brand info page, and account page.

UI design

Following the brand guidelines and informed by my research, I designed a modern, visually appealing UI that aligns with the brand and ensures a clean, user-friendly experience.
